Welcome to the San Miguel de Allende bilingual Consciousness-Based Education program and thank you for the interest you and other parents have expressed.
Registration is open for courses of primary school grades 5th and 6th, secundaria grades 1 through 3, and bachillerato grades 1 through 3.

We interviewed and selected what we believe to be a great team of teachers, led by Sylvia van Dijk reputed San Miguel educator, an Education Ph.D. candidate, and a founding member of Save the Children in Mexico.
Continuing teachers education training will be provided by Rita DeBrito, a highly experienced US educator living in San Miguel de Allende. Rita served for 5 years as a member of the National Teaching Standards Board of the United States. She is an award winning science teacher and has a considerable classroom experience.
Together with Dr. Cony Sales, a 33-year veteran educator at all level from primary school to university, with specialty in curriculum design from Mexico City, we carefully selected the teachers. With a team like this and the powerful project design that has been accomplished, we all would love to go back to school.
Many of you have been awaiting the opening. Your support and patience has been an inspiration to us, as well as the children's enthusiasm.
Now that it's wrapped up the time has come to confirm students attendance. Please do so right away via email at sma@escuelasinestres.org so we can start planning classrooms and teachers availability immediately.
Upon receiving your electronic correspondence, we will send you the parents (legal tutor) agreement and registration form by email.
| Registration Fee | 4,000 pesos. Applies to students of all levels. If you already paid a registration fee to another school it will be deducted from the student's tuition up to the amount of the monthly tuition for the respective course level attended. |

| Uniforms | The uniform policy has been kept as simple as possible but we reserve the right to update the policy during the course of the year according to overall results: Appropriate clothing, not thorn, no black, no mid-drift showing, no low cut cleavages, no micro-mini skirts, no piercing, no showing tattoos. In addition, the program will have a branded T-shirt, cap and wrist bracelet compulsory for activities outside the school's grounds. Students may also wear them on premises. There will be a uniform for sports competitions for those who will participate in sports competitions or tournaments. It will be decided as a team together with the students during the first month of activities. |
| Contribution to Building Development | From August 2009 onwards a 10,000 pesos contribution will apply per family, irrespective of the number of children that the family will register to the school. The building contribution will not apply to the founding families registering their children to classes starting in August 2008. |
